Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with the ability to float within the critical care service line.

Details

• Conglomerate ICU setting encompassing medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patient populations
• Patient cases include TAVR, CABG, CVA, respiratory distress, TNK, GIB, DKA, CEA, sepsis, fem pop, thoracotomy, STEMI, HF, CHF, pneumonia, and hypoxic/respiratory failure
• Procedures and therapies include vent management, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Night shift: 18:45–07:15
• 13-week contract
• Floating required within the critical care service line, which includes ICU and step-down

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Social Security Number (SSN) and a valid US home address required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted; however, a radius rule applies and may affect the travel pay rate — the radius distance varies by state
• COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
