About the Position

Job Title: Endoscopy Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday-Friday Hours per Shift: 6:30 am-5:00 pm Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: Current CPR/BLS Card Must-Have: Proficient in endoscopy procedures including colon, EGD, ERCP, PEG tube, bronch, esophageal stent, and pain procedures. Description: Endoscopy nurse position for a 13-week duration. Shift is Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm with on-call required. On-call requirements include up to 2 week nights and 2 weekend days with a 45-minute call back time. Float to other facilities within the organization when needed. Ability to perform moderate sedation and EPIC charting is essential. The nurse will be responsible for admitting and discharging patients in the perioperative area. Assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs. Plan, implement, and evaluate an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team. Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible individuals. Demonstrate nursing clinical judgment by recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition. Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills. Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care. Participate in continuing education to expand professional knowledge. Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
