Experienced Automotive Technician - 1st Shift

We’re looking for automotive mechanics with a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience to join us at Carvana – the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history. As an experienced auto technician, you will perform a full range of automotive repairs—from light maintenance to heavy engine work—and diagnostics on our vehicles. Responsibilities Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models, ranging from timing belts and suspension systems to heavy engine work. Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles. Complete repairs for wheel bearings and axles, as well as vehicle climate‑control systems including ACs and heater cores. Qualifications & Requirements Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools – must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold). Use of safety equipment, which may include face shield or goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment. Read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Compensation Pay Range: $20‑31 hourly. Bonus: $4,000‑$6,000 depending on experience.
