Job Description Details: Per diem for travelers 60+ hours per week 3 years Now Hiring: Ironworker - Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) Erection We are seeking experienced and dependable Ironworkers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience erecting pre-engineered metal buildings and be committed to working safely while producing high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities:
- Erect pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) systems, including primary and secondary structural steel.
- Install wall and roof panels, insulation systems, trim, gutters, and downspouts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and erection plans.
- Bolt, align, plumb, and secure structural steel components.
- Operate aerial lifts, telehandlers, forklifts, and other construction equipment safely.
- Perform rigging and signaling during steel erection.
- Work at heights while using proper fall protection equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety policies.
- Work efficiently as part of a crew to complete projects on schedule.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) erection preferred.
- Ability to read construction drawings and layout plans.
- Experience installing structural steel, roof panels, and wall panels.
- Must be comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of proper rigging and safe lifting practices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred but not required.
- Welding and forklift/telehandler certifications are a plus.
