Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to help diagnose and evaluate various medical conditions. This role requires accurate image acquisition, patient safety, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  
  
• 
  Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  
  
• 
  Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality image acquisition for accurate diagnosis.
  
  
• 
  Maintain detailed and compliant documentation using EPIC and Workday systems.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patients throughout procedures and address any adverse reactions or concerns.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all licensure, certification, and safety standards outlined by state and federal regulations.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program or equivalent.
  
  
• 
  Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certifying Board (NMTCB).
  
  
• 
  Hold licensure by the NYS Department of Health.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least 1 year of relevant nuclear medicine experience.
  
  
• 
  Proficient in EPIC and Workday systems; experience with modules is a plus.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work day shifts with on-call rotation including weekends and holidays.
