We're looking for a dedicated Residential Maintenance Technician to join our team and help create an exceptional living environment for our tenants.In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining our community's buildings, equipment, and grounds while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and providing outstanding service to tenants and staff. If you enjoy solving problems, working independently, and making a positive impact on people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipmentMaintain and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance systemsRespond promptly to maintenance requests and work ordersConduct routine inspections and testing of fire protection, security, and life-safety systemsEnsure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and building codesMonitor and maintain domestic hot water, plumbing, and mechanical systemsPrepare apartments/rooms for move-ins and move-outs, including repairs, painting, and furniture relocationMaintain community vehicles and equipmentAssist with grounds maintenance and ensure common areas remain clean, safe, and attractiveMaintain inventory of maintenance, emergency, and disaster preparedness suppliesDocument maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs accuratelyParticipate in on-call rotations to provide emergency maintenance supportSupport staff training related to building systems, fire safety, and emergency proceduresWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum one year of maintenance experience involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry workValid driver's license with a good driving recordAbility to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical documents, and work ordersExperience safely using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and electric metersStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to participate in a 24-hour on-call maintenance rotationPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of fire, safety, and building code regulationsExperience working in a healthcare, senior living, assisted living, or residential community settingThe Ideal CandidateYou are a dependable problem-solver who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
