Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect (CIA) Lead AWS Landing Zone & Networking
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months Contract
(Alternates depending on seniority/framing: Lead Cloud Infrastructure Architect AWS/Multi-Region DR, Sr. AWS Solutions Architect Landing Zone & IaC, or Principal Infrastructure Architect (Financial Services).
CIA Lead Responsibilities:
Design and validate DTCC A3P landing zone configuration for FICC workloadsDefine VPC architecture: public/private subnets, VPC endpoints, security groups per SYS IDConfigure multi-region network topology (us-east-1 primary, us-east-2 standby)
Design F5 GTM integration for DR failover and operational rotation traffic switching
Define Terraform module structure for FICC infrastructure (OCP on EC2, Aurora, DynamoDB, MQ)
Design EC2 instance sizing and placement for OCP worker nodes, Autosys server, GlobalScape SFTP, and IBM MQ RDQM
Design cross-region data replication architecture (SRDF-A equivalent, Aurora Global DB, DynamoDB Global Tables)
Configure Dynatrace OneAgent deployment on OCP and Splunk log forwardingDesign GlobalScape EC2 deployment (S3 backend storage, HA configuration)
Design Autosys EC2 deployment (HA, job scheduling connectivity to OCP pods)
Validate A3P platform service readiness for all required AWS servicesDesign cost governance tagging strategy (per SYS ID, per environment, per wave)
Define on-premises connectivity architecture (DirectConnect/VPN for Ping Federate, CRS, CDTS MQ, Venafi)
Skillset Required:
AWS Solutions Architect Professional + Advanced Networking Specialty
Deep expertise in AWS landing zones, Organizations, and SCPsTerraform IaC at enterprise scale (multi-account, multi-region)
EC2 instance families, placement groups, and self-managed infrastructure
OpenShift on EC2 networking (overlay networks, load balancers, ingress)
Multi-region DR architecture (active-passive patterns) F5 GTM integration with AWS infrastructure IBM MQ RDQM clustering on EC2
Financial services infrastructure requirements (Tier 1 resiliency)
Key Deliverables (Contributor - supports all architecture deliverables):
A3P landing zone design (FICC-specific)
VPC and network architecture (multi-region)Terraform module catalog (OCP, Aurora, DynamoDB, MQ, GlobalScape, Autosys)
Multi-region DR infrastructure design
On-premises connectivity architecture
EC2 sizing recommendations
