divh2Maintenance Technician ($27.50)/h2pPosition Summary: The Maintenance Technician performs as a generalist within the Maintenance Department and ensures that the center is maintained in accordance with the standards defined by Management. Delivers the highest possible customer service based on established NPS goals./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliPerforms periodic and preventive maintenance on the centers equipment and systems./liliRepairs and maintains center amenities (i.e., chairs, tables, fountains, ash and trash cans, etc.)/liliOperates equipment such as pumps, motors, power tools, volt-amp meter, service gauges, and smaller electrical distribution equipment, switch gear and others./liliIdentifies, troubleshoots and corrects problems with the building or equipment./liliCompletes center based work orders and direct requests by supervisor./liliAdheres to preventive maintenance schedules./liliAdheres to environmental and worker safety regulations (hazardous materials, hazardous waste, CFC, etc.)/liliChanges filters and belts on HVAC systems (Site specific)/liliSupports the daily maintenance of other areas of the center (i.e., Marketing, Specialty Retail, Security, etc.)/liliAssists Management in the set-up and implementation of Marketing events in the center as requested./liliPromotes and maintains positive tenant relations./liliPerforms other duties or projects as requested./li/ulpMinimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:/pulliHigh school diploma or GED/liliMinimum of 3-5 years of skilled trade experience/liliTechnical degree or education preferred./liliWorking knowledge of maintenance tools (plumbing snakes, saws, drills, hand tools, etc.)/liliWorking understanding of basic electrical and plumbing components./liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills./liliAttention to detail./liliKnowledge of operating electric carts, fork lift, aerial lifts./liliValid California drivers license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law./li/ulpCompensation: Base Pay Start Rate: $27.50 The Company also offers competitive benefits for full time employees including paid time off, matching 401(k), and health benefits./ppAbout Us: Irvine Company Retail Properties (a division of Irvine Company) has created some of Americas most popular retail centers.
