Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Pharmacist position in a specialty pharmacy setting located in Waseca, MN. The role involves providing Long Term Care pharmacy services and will be a contract assignment lasting 13+ weeks.
Location: Waseca, MN
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Some weekends required
- 24-40 hours per week
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive pharmacy services supportive of long term care patients
- Managing prescription dispensing and medication therapy management
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy protocols
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Desired qualifications and experience:
- PharmD degree or equivalent professional pharmacy certification
- Immunization certification
- CPR certification
- Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification preferred
- Experience in retail pharmacy and long term care settings
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and patient care standards
