Job Duties

• Speak and interact with both new and regular customers
• Operate a deli slicer 
• Build & make sandwiches
• Take and fulfill prepared foods orders for customers
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions
• Stock hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods from kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators
• Assist with merchandising and display of products
• Check product dates to ensure freshness and rotates when necessary
• Assist with periodic inventory checks
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work station
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
• Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
• Contribute to a positive team environment

Qualifications

• One year of food service or food preparation experience preferred, but we love to train those passionate about food & customer service
• Availability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business
• A willingness to learn about our brand and our product offerings
• An enthusiasm to communicate with customers and fellow Associates about current offerings and drink options
• Ability to process information/merchandise through computer system and POS register system
• Can multi-task and work well under the pressure of a busy department
• Ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation
• Can move, carry or handle merchandise throughout the store
• You thrive in fast-paced environments
• You are a passionate food lover with a positive attitude
• You have a strong work ethic, are reliable, and enjoy working with people
• You take pride in exceeding customer expectations
