Financial Advisor

In this role, you will act as a true financial advocate, building meaningful relationships and creating custom strategies that empower individuals to achieve their long‑term financial goals. This role is embedded within a network of credit union branch locations, where you’ll have access to consistent warm introductions from branch staff, established branch training resources and a steady flow of credit union members who are actively seeking financial guidance. Key Responsibilities Meet with clients to understand their unique financial goals, personal values and retirement needs Develop customized financial strategies encompassing income planning, wealth growth and portfolio management Review client portfolios regularly to ensure strategies align with their changing life circumstances Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients in the Tallahassee community Collaborate closely with our support team to ensure each client receives exceptional, personalized service Conduct branch training sessions with credit union staff to maintain a consistent flow of qualified referrals Partner with credit union branch teams to build relationships and deliver member‑focused financial planning Qualifications Minimum three years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management or a client‑facing financial services role — we will consider motivated, high‑character candidates whose track record speaks for itself Series 7 required Series 65 or 66 preferred (or willingness to obtain) Life and health insurance license preferred Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or a related field preferred Strong communication and listening skills with a genuine passion for helping people Self‑motivated, coachable and driven to build a long‑term practice Opportunities & Benefits Highly competitive compensation structure Access to a consistent flow of warm introductions through our established credit union partner network Support for professional designation credentialing (CFP®, CLU® and others) Collaborative team environment with experienced mentorship Flexibility to build your practice across multiple branch locations in your territory #J-18808-Ljbffr Freedom Financial Group, LLC
