Job Description

Job Summary:
The Electrophysiology Technologist - Cath Lab is responsible for performing advanced imaging and invasive procedures within the electrophysiology or catheterization lab, ensuring safe and effective patient care. Collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members, the technologist supports diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with precision and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Perform invasive electrophysiology procedures in collaboration with cardiologists or radiologists.
• Apply radiation safety principles and exercise professional judgment during imaging and procedures.
• Provide patient care including monitoring, recognizing patient conditions, and taking immediate action as needed.
• Ensure proper setup and operation of lab equipment and maintain a sterile environment.
• Document procedures accurately and complete all necessary clinical documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Cath Lab or electrophysiology setting.
• Hold active RCES or IBHRE certification.
• Possess a valid Washington State Radiologic Technologist license or in process of applying.
• Demonstrate proficiency with imaging modalities and invasive procedure techniques.
• Strongly committed to patient safety and quality care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team and float as needed.
