ERP Functional Analyst

Salary: $70,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, plus 3+ years of experience supporting an ERP platform in a functional or business analyst role.
• We need demonstrated experience gathering business needs and converting them into system configurations or process enhancements.
• We look for a solid understanding of core business operations such as manufacturing, order management, inventory, or finance.
• We require experience creating and interpreting reports or queries to support business needs.
• We need strong problem-solving ability and keen attention to detail.
• We look for excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
• We require the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience using Agile development methods.
• Preferred: Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
• Preferred: Familiarity with SQL or other query languages.
• Preferred: Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools such as Power BI.

• We configure, maintain, and support ERP modules so they align with business processes and requirements.
• We serve as the main contact for end-user questions, issues, and enhancement requests related to the ERP system.
• We troubleshoot and resolve system problems, escalating to vendor support or technical resources when needed.
• We create and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and procedures.
• We design and deliver reports and queries that support business decision-making.
• We participate in system upgrades, patches, and testing cycles to help maintain business continuity.
• We train end users on system functionality and best practices.
• We stay current on ERP vendor updates and industry trends to keep our solutions effective and competitive.
• We identify and resolve data integrity and workflow issues within the ERP environment.
• We contribute to business planning, metrics, and objective prioritization with departments across the organization.
• We help develop and maintain project backlogs, including definition, documentation, and prioritization, to support IT delivery.
• We align technology planning with corporate goals and key metrics.
• We support integrations between the ERP system and other business applications such as CRM, analytics, and e-commerce platforms.
• We monitor and document system performance against business and user needs.
• We take hands-on ownership of the design, implementation, testing, documentation, rollout, and adoption of systems changes across ERP, analytics, and CRM.
• We provide day-to-day support for business operations through various systems based on our areas of expertise.
• We act as a trusted advisor on system capabilities and processes to help minimize customizations while still delivering an optimized outcome.
• We participate in reviewing, analyzing, and selecting new technologies and tools that better support business goals.
