You'll operate as a subject matter expert in industrial power systems, shaping complex designs, guiding project teams, and partnering directly with customers on mission-critical solutions.What You'll DoLead end-to-end electrical system design for industrial and mission-critical projectsOwn system architecture across MV/LV distribution, substations, and backup power systemsAct as the technical authority on complex, high-value projectsDevelop and review: Single line diagramsProtection and coordination studiesSchematics and equipment layoutsPartner directly with customers to define robust, scalable power solutionsProvide technical leadership across multiple concurrent projects (often 10–15+)Mentor engineers and elevate technical capability across the teamWhat Sets This Role ApartTrue technical leadership role, no people management requiredWork on large-scale, complex electrical infrastructure, not small commercial systemsHigh visibility with customers and leadershipOpportunity to shape engineering standards and system design approachesQualifications15–20+ years in electrical engineeringPE license highly preferredBachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Master's in Physics or Math related highly desirable)Deep expertise in industrial power systems ("big wires")Strong experience with: MV/LV distributionSubstations, switchgear, transformersGenerators and UPS systemsProtection & coordination (SEL relays preferred)Background in industrial, utility, data center, or large infrastructure projectsExperience with industrial engineering firmsYou may currently be a:Principal / Lead Engineer at an engineering firm working on large industrial projectsSenior engineer ready to step into a technical authority rolePower systems specialist in an industrial EPC, utility, or mission-critical environmentJob Location
