Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule & Training

• Training period: Up to 12 months
• Training shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST
• Post-training shift: Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM CST

Location: ON-SITE, Round Rock, TX

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Logistics Specialist for a temp-to-perm opportunity within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inventory control, material handling, shipping, receiving, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records and cycle counts
• Receive, inspect, tag, store, and issue materials and supplies
• Prepare and process shipments in compliance with DOT and IATA regulations
• Handle order closeouts, inventory discrepancies, and stock returns
• Maintain compliance with company policies, cGMP requirements, and safety procedures
• Support operational improvements and cross-train within the department
• Cross-train on other department tasks to provide full-service support to teams.
• Issue inventory and consumable items, perform stock returns (RMA), and deliver material to the end-user on time.
• Work with personnel to maintain safety stocks for consumables (e.g., shippers, trays).
• Participate in documenting processes and identifying areas for improvement in quality, efficiency, and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience in logistics, inventory control, material management, or chemical manufacturing preferred
• Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing or analytical environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing/walking for extended periods throughout the day
• Ability to bend and retrieve materials as needed
