Job Title: SAP TM BlueYonder Consultant

Location: Sunnyvale, CA - Onsite

Duration: 6+ months Contract

Job Description:

• Lead the migration of transportation operations from Blue Yonder TMS to SAP TMS.
• Conduct gap analysis between Blue Yonder and SAP TMS functionalities.
• Define and implement migration strategies, including master and transactional data mapping and transformation.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP TMS processes for freight planning, carrier selection, execution, and freight settlement.
• Coordinate with cross-functional SAP modules (MM, SD, EWM, FI) for process integration.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications and work with ABAP and technical teams to deliver custom solutions as needed.
• Support testing (unit, integration, UAT), cutover, and hypercare phases.
• Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to business users and IT stakeholders.
• Create project documentation including migration strategy, process flow diagrams, and SOPs.

Qualification Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain with 3+ years in SAP TMS.
• Hands-on experience in Blue Yonder (JDA TMS) and SAP TMS, especially with migration or system replacement.
• Strong understanding of transportation planning, execution, cost calculation, and freight settlement.
• Knowledge of SAP TMS master data and integration with external carriers or third-party systems.
• Experience with S/4HANA embedded TM preferred.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end migration projects with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience with ABAP debugging or working closely with development teams.
• SAP certification in Transportation Management.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps for TM.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Should be strong senior SME if possible. Someone from my SAP practice will talk to the person on Monday or Tuesday for fitment and we will close this.
