TPRM Consultant

JCW has partnered with a leading risk consulting firm to identify a Senior Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) SME to support a large insurance client. This is a 3–6 month contract role, hybrid in Midtown Manhattan, focused on moving the client onto a new regulatory framework, including a Bermuda code and validation of a global framework. Hands-on experience building or implementing a TPRM program within insurance or financial services is required; candidates whose experience is limited to individual vendor assessments will not be considered.

The ideal candidate is a senior TPRM professional who knows the discipline top to bottom and can both identify regulatory gaps and design what closes them. They will meet with stakeholders across the business, run a full gap analysis, and design a new risk profile covering how the organization manages risk, reports risk, and oversees its supply chain. This individual is as comfortable building frameworks, questionnaires, and guardrails as advising senior client stakeholders on the target operating model.

Key Qualifications

• Senior-level TPRM experience with end-to-end knowledge of third-party risk programs; insurance or reinsurance experience is mandatory
• Proven track record designing, building, or implementing TPRM programs, operating models, frameworks, and processes
• Strong understanding of third-party risk regulatory requirements and experience conducting gap analysis against new frameworks
• Experience with critical outsourcing and supply chain risk, including identifying key and third-tier suppliers and building criticality rationale and value mapping
• Ability to design cyber vendor and tooling oversight that meets regulatory requirements
• Experience creating TPRM program material, including policies, procedures, questionnaires, and guardrails
• Comfortable working directly with senior client stakeholders
• Exposure to Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) or other outsourcing and operational resilience regimes (DORA, PRA, NYDFS) is a plus
• This is a CONTRACT role.
