Supervisor - Warehouse

We are on a journey of continuous growth now looking for our next star a passionate Supervisor - Warehouse. This role, you will be involved in organizing teams, work schedules, preparing reports and looking for innovative ways to improve productivity and performance in your assigned department. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing for efficient operations and responsiveness to fluctuating workloads. Check specifications of materials loaded or unloaded against work orders. Assist in designing and implementing work methods and operational procedures for activities such as shipment verification, material handling, and inventory accuracy. Review work processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity, equipment performance, and overall quality of product or service. Estimate material, time, and staffing requirements for projects based on work orders, job specifications, and experience. Examine freight to determine optimal loading and unloading sequences. Report daily and nightly Distribution Center productivity metrics. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards; take corrective action when necessary. Train, coach, and develop team members to maintain safe and efficient work standards, tracking productivity and safety performance on a daily basis. Address and resolve employee relations or performance issues in a timely and professional manner. Lead small projects such as area improvements and minor maintenance initiatives to improve department operations. Participate in continuous improvement activities, contributing to process development and implementation within assigned areas. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Maintenance, HR, Quality, Planning) to ensure operational goals are met. Other duties as assigned. What do we offer? Medical Vision Life Insurance Short term & Long-term disability Supplemental life insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Minimum Requirements and Qualifications A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 5 (five) years of experience in a warehouse environment, including at least 2 (two) years in a leadership capacity (Lead or Supervisor). Skilled in basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly in person, by phone, and via email. Proven ability to lead small teams and train employees consistently. Experience handling employee relations and enforcing policies and procedures. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) required. Preferred Qualifications Experience with warehouse management systems such as Oracle or SAP. Familiarity with 5S, Lean principles, and Kaizen methodology. Experience managing both inbound and outbound warehouse operations. Additional education in supply chain or logistics. Physical Demands & Conditions (Applicable to Igloo Operators, Technicians, Leaders, and Other Roles in Manufacturing) Standing & Walking Roles may involve extended periods (up to 12 hours) of standing and walking, including moving at a brisk pace and occasional stair climbing. Postural Requirements Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in low or awkward positions during production or maintenance tasks. Operator-level roles may involve lifting up to 25 lb repeatedly throughout the shift. Technician-level roles may involve lifting up to 50 lb multiple times per day, including overhead lifts. Where possible, mechanical aids (e.g., hoists, forklifts) are used. Fine Motor Skills & Tool Use Use of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision. Visual Requirements Sufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation. Environmental Conditions Work is performed in a production setting where seasonal temperatures may range from 100–120°F (with humidity) in summer to cooler conditions in winter. High noise levels are common; hearing protection is provided and required. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and protective clothing may be required depending on the task.
