Maintenance Crew Leader

The incumbent leads a crew in performing maintenance and repair tasks in a variety of craft and trades to include plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical repairs, vehicle and equipment maintenance. Assignments may include but not limited to:

• Plumbing assignments may typically consist of measuring, cutting or replacing damaged and broken pipe: repairing leaky faucets; repairing or replacing toilets; cleaning clogged or stopped up drains.
• Carpentry assignments may typically consist of construction or repairing wooden shelves, windows, doors, furniture, counter tops and working areas. Incumbent measures, cuts, plans and sands wood materials according to the maintenance project requirements and specifications.
• Painting assignments may typically consist of interior and exterior surfaces by using various tools and related equipment.
• Incumbent will perform a variety of other maintenance duties which may include, but not limited to: replacing or repairing defective electrical switches, light bulbs and plugs, repair and preventative maintenance on camp site electrical boxes, repairing or replacing broken or inoperative door locks, washer/dryer repairs, schedules preventative and regular maintenance on a variety of hand and power tools
• Incumbent performs other related duties as assigned.
