Detention Coordinator

Department:OperationsJob Description:JOB SUMMARY: As an EDI Coordinator, you'll be responsible for supporting the daily activities of the EDI team in the electronic exchange of data (shipment details, status updates, etc.) and API integrations between the company and external trading partners. This position is on-site and does not involve programming.JOB DESCRIPTION:Key ResponsibilitiesMonitoring tendered freight for acceptance and integrity of order informationManaging inbound/outbound flow of EDI transactions (204, 210, 214, 990, 997)Troubleshooting error logs impacting successful receipt or delivery of trading partner filesUpdating AS/400 and notifying applicable parties of changes in shipment statusConfirming PODs for detention and accessorial fees associated with loading and unloading delays.
