We are a women- and therapist-founded company that values collaboration, professional support, and meaningful work with students and school communities.Job Highlights:* Position: Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing* Setting: In-person and school-based* Schedule: Full time, approximately 8:00 AM–3:30 PM* Maximum Hours: Up to 40 hours per week* Dates: August 27, 2026–June 19, 2027* Grade Levels: All grade levelsResponsibilities:* Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing* Assess students’ communication, language, academic, and accessibility needs* Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs* Adapt curriculum and classroom materials to support student access* Consult with general education teachers and school teams regarding accommodations* Support the use of hearing technology, assistive devices, and communication systems* Collaborate with families, interpreters, audiologists, and related service providers* Maintain accurate progress notes, service records, and educational documentation* Travel between assigned school sites as neededQualifications:* Valid state teaching credential with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in deaf education, special education, or a related field* Experience supporting students across multiple grade levels preferred* Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills* Ability to travel between school sitesBenefits & Perks* Paid sick leave* Healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and flexible spending accounts* 401(k) with employer matching* Reimbursements for licensing, continuing education, and other professional expenses* W-2 employment* Referral bonuses* Paid volunteer time and donation matching* Access to guidance and resources from experienced school-based professionals* No non-compete agreementBenefits are available for most positions that are 0.8 FTE or higher and may vary depending on the individual contract and district placement.We're a small business, local to many of the areas we hire in, and are proud to be women, minority, and therapist-founded and run.We began our career working in schools both as district and contract employees.
