High School Elementary School-Based Physical Therapist - Ann Arbor, Michigan

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
• Current Michigan PT license in good standing
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt interventions for diverse age groups and needs
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a dynamic caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and address students' physical therapy needs across K-12 environments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational teams
• Provide direct interventions and monitor student progress toward goals
• Document services and communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and school personnel
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions to integrate therapy into educational planning
• Offer education and resources to support school staff in facilitating student access and participation
