Work Environment

As a full-time PTA, you will work onsite in our bustling hospital facility located in the heart of Roseville. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, with a scheduled workday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while providing essential care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, age-appropriate care that aligns with the treatment goals set forth by our licensed Physical Therapists.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs, focusing on improving their strength, mobility, balance, and coordination.
• Utilize creative, play-based methodologies to engage children during therapeutic activities, ensuring that each session is enjoyable while fostering progress.
• Monitor and document patient progress in collaboration with supervising Physical Therapists, using established metrics to measure improvement.
• Engage with families and caregivers to educate them about home exercise programs and strategies to support their child's therapy goals.
• Participate actively in creating a safe, inclusive, and positive clinic culture that embraces children of all abilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your main focus will be working with pediatric patients, ranging from infants to adolescents, who may have conditions such as developmental delays, neuromuscular disorders, or orthopedic issues. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field, with graduation from a recognized Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• A current, valid PTA license or eligibility for licensure in the state of California.
