Job Details Specialty: ICU Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel Nursing Schedule: Night shifts, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Shift Duration: 12 hours Contract Length: 13 weeks Weekly Hours: 36 hours Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,620 - $1,700 Unit Size: 32 beds Patient Ratio: 2:1 on days, nights, and weekends Start Date: 10/12/2026 Location: Albuquerque, NM 87109 Orientation: 12 hours Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends Float Requirement: Floating to like units as needed Job Requirements 2 years preferred Current RN license in New Mexico or compact state eligibility; pending compact license accepted if obtained prior to start Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Experience caring for adult critical care patients and high-acuity diagnoses Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach Epic experience preferred Previous charge nurse experience preferred Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate, and skilled care to adult ICU patients Monitor and manage patients with complex conditions such as ARDS, sepsis, CHF, DKA, GI bleeds, and post-op complications Provide nursing care for ventilated patients, patients on cardiac drips, and those requiring CRRT/HD support Perform and assist with critical care interventions including arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, and ventilator management Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support positive patient outcomes Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established ICU protocols Float to like units within scope as needed based on facility needs Support a patient-centered environment with professionalism, adaptability, and attention to detail Apply now for this Albuquerque, New Mexico travel ICU nursing job and join a team committed to high-quality critical care.
