Orthodontic Dental Assistant

We are seeking a Licensed Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our busy and dynamic practice. This role involves supporting orthodontic procedures, managing patient flow, and maintaining accurate patient records. The ideal candidate will be organized, able to multitask, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care with a positive attitude. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, offering flexible scheduling options.

Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures and treatments
Prepare and organize treatment rooms and orthodontic instruments
Take and process dental X-rays and other medical imaging as required
Manage patient records and update treatment information accurately
Ensure patient comfort and provide friendly, professional customer service
Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols according to standards
Schedule patient appointments and assist with patient flow
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations
Support other dental assisting duties as needed

full-time $23 - $30 per hour

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Certified Orthodontic Assistant
• Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required
Current CPR certification required
Proven experience in dental assisting, preferably in orthodontics
Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
Familiarity with medical imaging and dental radiography
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic

Additional certifications such as AED certification
Comfortable with dental software and electronic health records
Bilingual abilities a plus
