Adjunct Faculty - Mental Health Nursing Clinical Instructor

Herzing University - Orlando Campus Position: Clinical Nursing Instructor (Part-Time Adjunct Faculty) This role supports students in the DPN, ASN, and BSN programs. Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in Florida Experience in mental health nursing, acute care setting Previous teaching experience is preferred Compensation Undergraduate nursing: $1,500 per lab credit (approx. 30 hours) and $2,250 per clinical credit (approx. 45 hours). Responsibilities Mental health clinicals are typically scheduled on weekends with occasional days during the week (may vary by term). The position’s responsibilities fall into eight basic areas: Subject Matter Expertise Effective Communication Pedagogical Mastery Operational Excellence Appreciation and Promotion of Diversity Assessment of Student Learning Utilization of Technology to Enhance Teaching and Learning Continuous Improvement Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We do not sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
