Unit notes: Unit: CVOR - # suites: 1 - # of cases per day: 2 per week - Certs/Tech certified: RN - ACLS BLS - Ratios: 2 Circulators per case - EMR: Cerner, Surginet - Charge Nurse: Charge RN / does the assignments for next day. - OR techs: N/A - Weekend Requirement - Call and work rotation - Call Requirement - RN's: for CVOR will be split and rotated separately. We currently have 1 CVOR RN covering every night - What is call response time: 30 - Holidays: Yes - Scrub Color/ Provided: Provided - Tele:N/A - Vents:N/A - Surgeon on call hours:N/A - IV Team: - RT 24/7: - Pharmacy 24/7: - Shifts: - Floating: Only within the OR to other specialties - Floor specific orientation: A week or until comfortable. - Common types of cases: Straight forward CABG, AVR, MVR, Thoracotomy - Scrubbing required - RN's: Not required but would be great
