Activities Assistant Memory Care Job Summary Avir at Colonel is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activities Assistant to join our Memory Care team in Garland, Texas. As an integral member of our care community, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by designing and implementing engaging activities that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and overall well-being. Responsibilities Design and implement activities that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our memory care residents, including arts and crafts, music, exercise, and recreational programs Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and caregivers to ensure that activities meet their needs and preferences Collaborate with the Memory Care team to identify and address resident needs, concerns, and interests Create and lead group activities, as well as one-on-one engaging experiences Monitor and record resident participation and outcomes to inform activity programs and improve overall care Develop and maintain activity calendars, reports, and records Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and new initiatives Provide support with daily living tasks and assist with administering medications as needed About the Role As an Activities Assistant at Avir at Colonel, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.
