Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Department Nurse in ISSAQUAH, Washington. This role involves providing specialized obstetric care, including attending high-risk and normal deliveries, managing antepartum and postpartum patients, and utilizing advanced equipment. Candidates should be dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts with 12-hour hours, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of experience in Labor and Delivery, active certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), AWHONN Intermediate, with ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Administration of blood and blood products, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, drains, epidural and PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac, medications like heparin, insulin, magnesium sulfate; attending all deliveries including high-risk cases; GYN surgeries, GYNECOLOGY, postpartum, neonatal ICU based on skill set.
• Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS preferred.
• Additional Information: Prior experience with charting systems (Epic preferred), experience in high-volume facilities (200-300 births/month), ability to assist with high-risk deliveries and procedures, and adherence to safety protocols.
