Day Tampa Breast Radiologist - Radiology Associates of Florida

Radiology Associates of Florida, a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a full-time Breast Radiologist to support our growing practice in Tampa, FL. This position offers a high concentration of Breast Imaging (at least 90%, with up to 100% for interested candidates) across a combination of hospital-based and outpatient settings. Opportunities include supporting Tampa General Hospital's nationally recognized breast program as well as high-volume outpatient breast imaging centers throughout the Tampa market.

The ideal candidate will work closely with breast surgeons, pathologists, oncologists, and multidisciplinary care teams, interpreting screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, while performing stereotactic, ultrasound-guided, and MRI-guided breast biopsies, as well as localizations. Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards is available as part of an NAPBC-accredited breast program. Our practice is fully equipped with advanced 3D breast imaging technology, including stereotactic biopsy capabilities.

Candidates seeking to maintain proficiency in general diagnostic radiology will have the opportunity to participate in general diagnostic shifts and emergency call, if desired. This position also offers the opportunity for academic involvement through faculty appointments and/or teaching radiology to residents and fellows in partnership with the University of South Florida, though participation is not required. A desire to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment is essential. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM position with partnership-track eligibility.

Just describe what you see, and Mosaic builds the structured report automatically, even inserting normal findings for you.

Our practice is locally and democratically led, with decisions vested in the hands of the group at large, rather than in a few founders or a small group of shareholders. We are the teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and be residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
• Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Completed one year of post-residency fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred
• MQSA Required
• FL Medical license or the ability to obtain a FL license is required
