Description:
We are seeking a full-time Addiction Medicine provider for immediate coverage.
This position involves medical detox from substances, including opiates and alcohol.
The provider will work Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4 PM.
Approximately two nights of overnight beeper call will be required each week.
The provider will see about six patients per shift.
Familiarity with pharmacotherapy is desirable, including the use of various medications.
Experience in a sub-acute unit or residential setting is also preferred.
This role does not focus on acute psychiatric care or long-term psychiatric facilities.
The facility's trauma level is classified as level 2.
