Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop on board!Why you'll love this jobThis job is a member of the Airport Affairs & Facilities Team within the Corporate Affairs Division.Responsible for overseeing and managing the design and construction of corporate facilities at the Fort Worth based campus. This person will also be assisting in managing and overseeing the hospitality complex already underway on the campus. The position is responsible for space planning across all campus properties.What you'll doResponsible for the space planning and space management for a 3 million sq ft. corporate campus including the management of the space planning data baseDevelopment of project scope and/or definition documentsProactively works with all internal departments and external Stakeholders to establish project programDevelopment and management of tactical and strategic facility plansAssists in selection of leased real estate as neededPreparation and management of procurement process for projectsDevelopment and management of internal funding documents and consultant and contractor contractsDevelopment and management of project estimates, budgets and schedules, including construction phasesOversees development of design and construction documentsOversees furniture selections and specificationsResponsible for the technical direction of project architects, engineers and consultants involved in assigned projects to ensure that all program requirements are meet within budget and time constraintsOversees constructionProvides written and verbal project status reportsRepresents the best interest of the company at public meetings regarding departmental affairsManages direct reportsLimited travel is expectedAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceBachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Construction Management or equivalent experience/training10+ years of demonstrated experience in design, planning, development, and management of facility construction projects including master plan projectsPrior experience in construction or facilities developmentLicensed Architect or Interior Designer in the state of TexasPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceN/ASkills, Licenses & CertificationsWorking knowledge of architectural and engineering construction documents, contracts, and commercial real estateAbility to think strategicallyUnderstand the business need for each project and make ongoing decisions bacsed on the best results for the companyConsistently able to anticipate upcoming problems and therby avoid them to preserve the project's intent, schedule, and budgetCapable of handling larger and complex projects requiring multi-phasing and/or fast trackingMust be ablek to work with diverse user groupsAbility to successfully manage direct reportsTSA Regulations require a fingerprint-based criminal history records check, which must be completed prior to any individual assuming this position.
