Cyber Security Admin

Summary of Responsibilities The Cybersecurity Admin will provide enterprise-level information security assistance to the organization, diagnose and troubleshoot information security related issues, and protect company assets including people, data, and information systems. This role interacts with individuals directly via chat, email, remote login, or phone and handles tickets. Essential Duties Review alerts from cybersecurity systems such as MS Office 365, Microsoft Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender, Qualys, and Bitdefender. Review O365 and Azure Secure Scores and assist in remediating vulnerabilities. Provide metrics on cybersecurity related systems. Handle cybersecurity-related helpdesk tickets. Assist with administering the Cybersecurity VMO. Conduct third‑party risk assessments. Ask team members targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem. Guide team members through actions via phone, email, or chat until issues are resolved. Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams. Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers. Refer to internal or external partners for accurate security solutions. Log all security issues properly. Document technical knowledge in notes and manuals. Manage email and cybersecurity related systems. Use Defender Explorer functions to research email activities. Additional responsibilities as assigned by manager. Working Conditions Primarily indoors in an office environment. May sit for several hours at a time. Prolonged exposure to computer screens. Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience and/or education. 1–3 years hands‑on experience in cybersecurity. Minimum 1–2 year experience working with Microsoft Defender XDR. High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Hands‑on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments. Preferred Education and Experience CompTIA Security+ or comparable information security certification(s); certifications such as CC, ISCP, CISSP, CEH, CISM are a plus. Experience working with vulnerability management solutions (Microsoft). Experience working with Microsoft Azure and Cloud App Security. Experience working with antivirus software and malware remediation (Bitdefender, Microsoft Defender). Experience with Active Directory management. Experience with data access request (DSR) and eDiscovery tools. Experience in property management, real estate, or similar industry. Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑growth company. Experience with corporate‑wide communications. Required Knowledge Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including needs assessment, quality standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
