Job Summary
The Carry-Out / Delivery Specialist will be the lead front of house team member ensuring all carryout and delivery orders are properly entered and closed in the system, packaged, completed, and passed off for our main restaurant and virtual kitchens. You will be working as a team member with other front of house employees and kitchen employees to help exceed guest expectations and ensure quality product and service in an efficient manner.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Expedite, organize, verify and pack take-out & delivery orders
• Coordinate incoming take-out & delivery orders
• Work with multiple technologies to facilitate take-out orders (POS, tablet, kitchen system)
• Answer phones
• Coordinate multiple third-party vendor take-out orders (example: GrubHub, Door Dash, UberEats)
• General carry-out responsibilities
• Use quality checklist to inspect each take-out/delivery order meets quality standards
• Know all food and beverage products offered
• Assist with keeping the restaurant and front entryway clean and safe
• Accurately quote available pick up time
• Create a great first and last impression for our Guests and delivery partner drivers
• Be cheerful, helpful and take accurate phone messages and orders
• Handle multiple payment methods including safe and accurate cash handling

Minimum Requirements:

• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Physical ability to carry out job functions
• Must be able to responsibly handle cash transactions

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to navigate throughout the restaurant and verbally communicate with guests. The team member is regularly required to grasp, move and carry items up to five pounds. The team member may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The team member may also occasionally be required to reach, bend and stoop. Must have adequate vision to be able to discern cleanliness throughout the restaurant and operate touchscreen devises.
