Supervisor, Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Ambulatory Pharmacy - Encinitas

This is a full time, hourly position with 8 hour day shifts anytime between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm in Encinitas, generally Monday through Friday. Eligible for the management incentive compensation plan. Includes $4,000 retention incentive and $4,500 relocation assistance for eligible new hires. The Pharmacist in Charge will be a leader at our site at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas, confident in decision making, problem solving and developing policies. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Manager or Director of Pharmacy Services, the Supervisor Pharmacist-In-Charge is responsible for the oversight, management, and operational functions of the pharmacy. This role ensures the effective use of system resources, maintains regulatory compliance, upholds quality assurance standards, and delivers excellent patient care. The Supervisor Pharmacist-In-Charge directs and supervises pharmacy staff, participates in hiring processes, oversees daily productivity, creates staffing schedules, and ensures adherence to policies and procedures. The Supervisor Pharmacist-In-Charge is responsible for the development and performance management of pharmacy staff. This role also establishes meaningful solutions to drive performance and growth and successfully implements strategic initiatives set forth by pharmacy leadership. The Supervisor Pharmacist-In-Charge will oversee the day-to-day processing of prescriptions. Any issues that are unable to be resolved by the Supervisor Pharmacist-In-Charge will be escalated to the Manager or Director of Pharmacy Services to be resolved.
