About the Role Talarico for Texas is building a people-powered movement to take back power for working Texans. We are seeking a full-time Content Writer to join our communications team and support the ideation and drafting of digital content capable of breaking through an increasingly fragmented and fast-moving new media environment. Responsibilities Deliver timely drafts for speeches that are capable of translating messaging and policy priorities into compelling, accessible narratives. Contribute to the ideation and rapid development of content concepts, messaging angles, and creative executions optimized for an evolving digital media environment. Collaborate with team members responsible for content production (editors, videographers, etc.) to ensure drafts are compatible with the desired production outputs. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in political communications, digital media, or a related field. Exceptional writing skills and strong editorial judgement. Deep familiarity with the evolving digital media landscape, including video trends and platform-specific best practices. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to balance speed with quality in a rapidly adapting political environment. Willingness to work nights and some weekends.
