Senior Regional Manager - Midwest Region

Job Description The Senior Regional Manager is a critical role that focuses on the university’s mission by enhancing visibility, enrollment, and reputation. The role is a relationship manager and liaison for the region, ensuring operations align with strategic goals and improving internal operations. Location 1333 Burr Ridge Parkway, Burr Ridge, IL 60527 (Office) Salary Range Grade: Professional 309 Pay Range: $80,300.00 - $120,400.00 Responsibilities Operational Support Track, record, and maintain accurate regional data. Liaise with schools and regional teams to ensure alignment. Develop initiatives to improve efficiencies and service levels. Own and manage assigned projects. Leverage regional knowledge to develop a hyper‑local strategy aligned with schools, Academy, and Craft Education. Team and Stakeholder Collaboration Work with the Regional VP and leaders to build a strong team culture. Lead cross‑functional project teams to foster alumni engagement and community impact. Collaborate with internal and external leaders to resolve regional issues. Brand Growth & Awareness Increase visibility through community engagement and networking. Contribute to initiatives that strengthen brand reputation. Explore new partnerships to expand reach. Deliver sales presentations incorporating the “flywheel” approach. Support advocacy efforts with Government Relations. Represent WGU at conferences, panels, and speaking engagements. Relationship Building Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations, chambers, and associations. Support state‑based grant opportunities and workforce partnerships. Influence key results by developing relationships that drive value for employers, students, and alumni. Engage in community initiatives and represent WGU at local events. Collaborate with stakeholders to advance workforce and educational objectives. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Initiative – self‑directed with a strong bias for action and results.
