Director of Retail Banking

SUMMARY: The Director of Retail Banking will be responsible for managing the retail support department and providing data and reporting for the Retail Banking districts. This will include analyses for the retail banking, consumer lending, and small business lending areas. The position will require detailed analysis of retail banking metrics, as well as a strong knowledge of reporting tools and programs to complete assignments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Retail Support Manager/Retail Support Department
• Manage Customer Support Manager/Customer Support Department
• Work with Facilities Manager to plan and execute branch refreshes and maintenance
• Data analysis of market trends in the banking industry
• Ensure that data and reporting provided is accurate
• Providing timely reporting to management and retail banking departments
• Use reporting tools to complete assignments from management
• Development of reporting tools and reports to assist management with market trends and changes
• Partner with other bank departments to gather, input, and analyze data
• Assist with goal setting for retail banking, using a variety of reporting tools and metrics
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting
• Assist with day to day operations delegation to District and Division Managers and/or other personnel; Provide consistent and timely coaching and direction to ensure strategies, tactics and expectations are set, communicated and met
• Assist with development and management of annual retail budget
• Provide reporting for quarterly retail/branch incentive plans
• Determine performance metrics and indicators through analysis
• Educate retail banking department, as well as other bank departments, to interpret data provided and make sound business decisions
• Assist with special projects from management to analyze data and determine market trends and bank performance
• Provide data and input for pricing decisions
• Serves on the Pricing Committee.
• Complete analysis for retail deposit pricing and products
• Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money Laundering procedures. Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations.
• Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position
• Complete all other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years analytical and/or report writing experience required; Financial industry experience preferred and minimum of 5 years in a management role
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected
• Ability to analyze and evaluate large amounts of data and information
