Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule: Varied 12 hours; 3 shifts of 12 hours each (2 days, 1 night)

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks; Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements:

• 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery/OB experience
• Fetal Monitoring Experience
• Previous travel experience (highly preferred)
• Current Active American Heart Association BLS
• Current AWHONN certification
• Current NRP certification
• License verification
• Permanent address must be included with submission

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess and identify patient needs and establish a plan of care.
• Implement interventions and evaluate the patient plan of care based on patient progress.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies, including conditions such as preterm labor, hypertension, and diabetes.
• Provide prenatal testing and conduct amniocentesis as needed.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth and related topics.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must be able to start ASAP (pending compliance).
• RTO must be included in submission. Week-long RTO requests cannot be accommodated.
