Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing services to ICU patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Ensure optimal patient outcomes through advanced clinical skills and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing changes in condition promptly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, responses, and interventions.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with an active state license.
• Possess 2-3 years of ICU experience.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Meditech EMR system.
• Prefer candidates with trauma ICU and TNCC certification.
• Ability to work flexible day/night shifts and weekends as part of rotating on-call schedule.
