Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital providing primary care for dogs and cats across the Dracut, Lowell, and Pelham areas of Massachusetts. They are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join the practice on a full-time basis, providing high-quality medicine and compassionate care while building lasting relationships with clients and becoming a trusted part of the local community.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide care for patients throughout every stage of their lives, with a clinical focus spanning wellness and preventive medicine, urgent care, dentistry, diagnostics, general surgery, and laser therapy. Responsibilities include wellness and sick examinations, vaccinations, heartworm and flea and tick prevention, preventive dental care, spays and neuters, diagnostic testing, surgery, mass removals, end-of-life care, and supporting the ongoing health and well-being of patients. The role also provides opportunities to continue developing as both a veterinarian and a leader. This position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The AAHA-accredited hospital provides primary care alongside boarding and dog daycare services. Clinical services include preventive and urgent care medicine, dental care, general surgery, laser therapy, diagnostic testing, blood, urine and fecal testing, and nail trims. The practice emphasizes high-quality medicine and compassionate care within a collaborative environment. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM-7:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

Team
The hospital has eight DVMs and a great tenured support team. The environment is supportive and collaborative, allowing veterinarians to focus on delivering exceptional patient care while working alongside an established team.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
