Experienced Artist

Job Description

Job Description

Do what you love. We’ll do the rest.

JUUT Salonspa is looking for experienced Stylists and Color Technicians ready to trade the hustle of chair or suite rental for a career built on stability, support, and growth.

If you’re currently renting a chair or running your own suite, you already know the drill: you’re not just a stylist, you’re also a marketer, a receptionist, a bookkeeper, and a maintenance technician. That’s a lot of hats for someone who got into the industry to do hair.

At JUUT, we handle the business side so you can get back to what you love, and what you’re best at.

Who We’re Looking For

• Licensed Stylists and Color Technicians with proven experience
• Passionate professionals who want to focus on craft, not overhead
• Team players who bring energy, skill, and heart to their work

Why JUUT?

At JUUT, our vision is to transform the world with beauty, one guest at a time. As the collection of original Aveda salons, we employ some of the most highly regarded industry professionals. Through the power of Daymaking, we have created a 40-year history of impacting people, society, and the world at large. We believe in being fully present with our hearts and minds, being better today than yesterday, and better tomorrow than today.

What JUUT Takes Off Your Plate

• Marketing – we provide professional campaigns and brand presence to bring new guests through the door, no content calendar required
• Booking & Scheduling – a seamless system that supports your business online, over the phone, and in person
• Guest Communication – confirmations, reminders, cancellations, and follow-ups all handled for you
• Facilities – beautifully designed salons, maintained and ready to welcome you and your guests every day
• Finance – we pay employer taxes and provide you with a W2 each year

What You’ll Gain

• A built-in client pipeline powered by our marketing and reputation, not just your own hustle
• Posted pay range is what you could reasonably expect to make in your first year as a JUUT employee - this consists of guaranteed minimum pay of $18.70 per hour or service commission (whichever is greater) plus commission on retail sales and bonuses for high performance
• Overtime and Meal Premiums in accordance with California law
• A team to support you: professionals in Marketing, Education, Human Resources, and Operations, plus other talented stylists to motivate and inspire you
• Continued education and growth opportunities, because great stylists never stop learning
• Benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance plus an Employee Assistance Program to support your mental health, because your wellbeing matters just as much as your guests’
• A 401(k) retirement plan with company match, so you can start building real, long-term financial security
