Senior Analyst, Security Operations at Royal Caribbean Group Miami, FL

Position Summary Join Royal Caribbean Group’s Safety, Security and Environmental Team as a full‑time Senior Analyst, Security Operations. You will report to the Senior Manager, Security Projects & New Build and support the Global Security Operations leadership team by planning, developing, executing, tracking, and continuously improving security‑related projects, processes, policies, and new build initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities Security Projects & Newbuild Support: Plan, coordinate, track, and execute Global Security projects, including newbuild initiatives, technology projects, operational improvement initiatives, and fleetwide security programs. Manage project timelines, deliverables, action items, status updates, and follow‑up items to keep projects on track. Work with procurement to create equipment orders, document requirements, track progress, and maintain visibility of open items. Prepare project summaries, updates, presentations, trackers, and leadership reports. Maintain clear, organized documentation to support continuity, accountability, and future reference. Support annual security conferences, collaborating with teams to prepare agendas and speakers. Process Development & Standardization: Develop, document, and improve Global Security processes, procedures, workflows, and standards. Standardize security‑related processes across brands, ships, departments, projects, and operational areas. Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement; create tools, templates, trackers, and workflows to improve consistency and visibility. Develop repeatable processes that enable more effective management of projects and operational responsibilities. Policy & Documentation Support: Write, review, format, organize, and update security policies, procedures, manuals, guidance documents, training materials, and operational documentation. Align documentation with company standards, operational needs, and regulatory requirements; maintain version control and organized repositories. Draft clear professional written materials, including summaries, reports, process documents, project updates, and policy content. Technology, Systems & Data Support: Support the use and development of technology tools (Smartsheet, PowerBI, SharePoint, Microsoft Office) and other platforms introduced by the business. Learn new systems quickly and assist in building or maintaining dashboards, trackers, reports, forms, workflows, and project management tools. Support data collection, organization, and reporting related to projects, processes, technology initiatives, and operational performance. Create visibility tools that help leadership track progress, identify gaps, and make informed decisions. Maintain a strong working understanding of the technology solutions used by the department. Cross‑Functional Coordination: Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Security Operations, Newbuild, IT, HR, Legal, Finance, Marine Operations, Guest Operations, shipboard teams, vendors, and other partners). Follow up with stakeholders to collect updates, confirm action items, and support timely completion of deliverables. Help organize meetings, prepare agendas, document meeting notes, and track follow‑up actions. Communicate professionally and effectively with shoreside and shipboard stakeholders. Leadership Support: Provide direct administrative, analytical, project, and operational support to the Senior Manager, Security Operations, Projects & New Build. Anticipate needs, follow up independently, and keep projects and initiatives moving forward with minimal supervision. Keep leadership informed of progress, risks, delays, and required decisions while handling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Maintain a high level of ownership, accountability, urgency, and attention to detail. Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant experience. Preferred experience in security operations, project coordination, maritime operations, newbuild, compliance, process improvement, business administration, or operational support. Strong organizational skills: manage multiple projects, tasks, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. Ability to thrive in a very fast‑paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities. Self‑driven, independent thinker who follows through without constant direction. Excellent written communication skills for drafting clear policies, procedures, reports, summaries, and project documents. Attention to detail and ability to organize information professionally and practically. Rapid learning of new systems, applications, and technology tools. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint). Experience with Smartsheet, PowerBI, project management tools, dashboards, forms, workflows, or reporting platforms is preferred. Understanding of technology concepts and ability to support technology‑related security projects. Strong interpersonal skills: communicate effectively with leadership, peers, shipboard teams, vendors, and cross‑functional partners. Adaptability, reliability, focus on continuous improvement, and confidentiality handling of sensitive security information. Working Conditions Office‑based role with standard business hours; flexibility may be required to support global operations, project deadlines, shipboard needs, or newbuild activities. Occasional travel may be required for ship visits, project work, newbuild activities, operational assessments, or stakeholder meetings.
