Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Cardiac Cath Lab/EP to provide compassionate, high-quality care for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. The nurse will support the clinical team in delivering safe and effective treatment while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes during interventions.
• Assist physicians and technologists with invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Document patient care activities accurately and maintain detailed procedural records.
• Educate patients and families on post-procedure care, recovery expectations, and lifestyle modifications.
• Comply with all safety, sterilization, and infection control protocols throughout patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology setting.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, procedures, and post-care protocols.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
