Location: Norfolk, VA 23502 & Virginia Beach, VA 23462

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00/5:30 PM

Pay: $18.50–$20.00/hr depending on experience

Dress Code: Solid color scrubs

Position Type: Contract OR Temp to Hire

Our client, a busy multi-location medical practice, is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join their team. This role requires flexibility to work between two offices located just 15 minutes apart.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, record vitals, and obtain medical histories
• Maintain patient flow and assist with scheduling
• Document accurately in the EMR system
• Perform clerical duties, including reports and notes
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
• Support physicians and clinical staff in daily operations
• Assist with ordering and maintaining medical supplies

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant Certification
• OB/GYN experience or multidisciplinary clinic experience
• Active BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Willingness to rotate between Norfolk and Virginia Beach offices
