The position involves providing care within the Womens Services unit, which includes Labor and Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Nursery. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role offers a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring
  • Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in nursing
  • Experience: 2+ years in obstetrics and neonatal care
  • Location: Nevada
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with spontaneous vaginal delivery (non-VBAC), cesarean section, OB triage, nonstress test, postpartum care, nursery procedures, hemorrhage management, fetal monitoring, and treatment of pre-eclampsia/eclampsia/hypertensive crises
• Additional Information:
  • Potential to float to other departments depending on patient census and department needs
  • Equipment used includes Omnicell Medication Dispenser, Baxter Pumps, Masimo Monitors, GE Centricity Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring
  • Patient population: Adults and newborns
  • Dress code: Scrubs, any color; no street clothes
  • No call requirements
  • Floating: Float rotation may be required
  • The position is a contractor replacement for one opening
