HR Talent Specialist | Service Metal | Maryland Heights, MO

Pay: $68,000 - $80,000 | Full-Time | Onsite

Service Metal is hiring an HR Talent Specialist to own recruiting for our salaried and corporate roles across all five of our locations, and to stay involved after the hire through training, check ins, and career development. This role is a strong fit for someone with a few years of recruiting experience who wants full ownership of their searches, direct access to hiring managers and leadership, and room to modernize how a growing company hires.

What You'll Do

• Manage full cycle recruiting for salaried and corporate positions nationwide, from sourcing and postings through interview coordination, offers, and onboarding logistics
• Own the hiring tracker and report status to HR leadership and hiring managers
• Create and update job descriptions in partnership with hiring managers
• Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation activities
• Coordinate training programs and completion deadlines, and run and report on 90-day new hire check ins
• Support career path development and internal mobility programs for employees ready for their next step
• Administer annual performance review processes, including timeline management, completion tracking, and reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve recruiting, onboarding, and talent management processes through technology and workflow improvements

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required
• 3 or more years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
• Experience filling salaried or professional roles, not only high-volume hourly
• Proficient with HR technology, ATS systems, Microsoft Planner, and Teams, with demonstrated interest in applying AI and emerging tools to recruiting workflows. Paylocity experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Highly organized and able to manage a dozen open searches at once without losing anyone in the process
• Multi-state or multi-site recruiting experience helpful but not required
