Join Our Team as a CVICU RN Job Description: - Exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding CVICU unit! - Support critically ill patients and their families with compassionate care. - Must have training on CVICU devices, specifically for cardiovascular cases. Unit Details: - Location: San Antonio, TX - Shift Options: - 7A - 7:30P - 7P - 7:30A - Assignment Length: 13 Weeks - Weekend Rotation: Required - Guaranteed Hours: 36 Key Responsibilities: - Administer and monitor hemodynamic monitoring (e.g., swans, art lines). - Manage ventilators and apply strong critical thinking skills in emergency situations. - Collaborate effectively with a dedicated health care team. Qualifications: - Must Have: - 2 years of ICU experience - Active TX RN License (No temporary licenses accepted) - Current ACLS and BLS certifications - NIH Stroke Scale certification - Preferred Skills: - Exposure to IABP and CRRT - Experience with Meditech charting/order entry Unit Specifics: - Procedures performed on unit: - Post CABG - Post VAD - Post Cath with various cardiac support devices (IABP, Impella, ECMO) Dress Code: - Scrub Color: Navy scrub top and pant; navy or white scrub jacket - Nail Policy: Clean and healthy - Hair Policy: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors - Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible - Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
