Physician (Pediatrics)

About the Position We see dependents from all branches of the military. Clinic hours run from 7:30 to 4:30 daily. The physician works with other doctors and nurse practitioners as part of a pediatric team. The position is outpatient only – no calls or weekends. Who May Apply U.S. Citizens are eligible to apply. Applicants must hold a Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution in the United States or Canada. Foreign‑Educated Physicians Foreign‑educated physicians may qualify if they provide permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, a fifth‑pathway certificate for Americans who completed pre‑medical education in the United States and graduate education abroad, or successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination. Required Degree Accreditation Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association Association of American Medical Colleges Liaison Committee on Medical Education Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association Other accrediting bodies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education Licensure Applicants must hold a current, active, full, and unrestricted physician license or registration in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory. Graduate Training After obtaining an MD or DO, candidates must have at least one year of supervised clinical experience (e.g., internship or first year of residency) in an accredited hospital or training institution. Pediatrics Specialty Training Applicants must possess four (4) years of graduate training in Pediatrics or equivalent experience and training. Salary Salary quotes are not provided at the initial job offer. The salary determination process begins after the offer is accepted and is based on a tier scale determined by specialty, grade, and location.
