Mechanical & Robotics Maintenance Technician Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical & Robotics Maintenance Technician to support the Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) team in a fast-paced operations environment. In this role, you will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot material handling equipment, automated packaging systems, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and other industrial automation equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with industrial maintenance, robotics, automation, or distribution center experience who want hands-on exposure to advanced automated systems and reliability engineering practices.

• Perform preventative maintenance on material handling, automation, and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, automated packaging equipment, sortation systems, and distribution machinery.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair pneumatic systems and mechanical components.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Complete equipment inspections and identify potential reliability concerns before failures occur.
• Install, maintain, and support automated machinery and mechanical systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to prioritize repairs and support production goals.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all safety procedures.

• Experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, automation maintenance, or related technical environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of material handling systems, conveyors, packaging equipment, or automated machinery.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic systems.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and equipment documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and maintenance best practices.

• Experience working in a distribution center, fulfillment center, warehouse automation, or logistics operation.
• Familiarity with conveyor systems, sortation equipment, and material handling equipment (MHE).
• Experience supporting robotics, automated packaging systems, or industrial automation equipment.
• Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

This position is located in a high-volume operations facility utilizing advanced automation, material handling equipment, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and packaging machinery. The role is highly hands-on and requires working around active equipment while following established safety procedures.

Candidates should be comfortable:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Climbing ladders and accessing equipment platforms
• Working around moving machinery and automated systems
• Lifting tools, parts, and maintenance materials as needed
• Working flexible shifts based on operational requirements

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loveland, CO.

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
